🌿 Sew & Stash Pot Workshop
For Kids Aged 9+ | Wed 13th August | 10am–4pm | Newent, Gloucestershire
Stitch it. Flip it. Fill it!
In this creative and confidence-building workshop, kids will sew their very own fabric pot – perfect for stashing pencils, sweet treats, secret notes, or whatever little treasures they love most.
They’ll use a sewing machine to stitch it up, flip it inside out (so satisfying!), and leave with a brilliant make that’s both fun and functional.
They’ll learn how to:
- Use a sewing machine with confidence
- Sew straight seams and topstitch neatly
- Create a 3D shape from flat fabric
- Add structure and shape to soft fabric
- Finish their pot with flair!
This is a great follow-on project for kids who’ve already tried one of my workshops, or a fab introduction for total beginners.
These were made by two brothers who came for a day's stitching with me. Aren't they fab?

🙋 FAQs
Is this suitable for beginners?
Yes! Every workshop is designed with beginners in mind. Whether it’s their first time or their third, I’ll guide them through every step.
Can my child bring their own machine?
Yes, they absolutely can. It’s great for learning how to use the machine they’ll sew on at home. But I have machines that they can use too.
Is this a drop-off workshop?
Yes, it is; the workshop is designed to help your kids build independence and confidence in a safe and fun environment. They will be excited and ready to show you what they’ve made at pick up time.
Can I book multiple workshops or children?
Absolutely! Each workshop is listed separately, but if you’re booking multiple sessions or siblings, feel free to contact me to arrange a special rate before you checkout.
