Piecing Thread

For piecing patchwork you need to use 100% cotton thread, for dressmaking you need polyester thread.

I love and use Mettler thread for piecing and Gutermann polyester thread for pretty much anything else.

NB Do NOT use hand quilting threads in your sewing machine; it has a wax on the threads and will cause major problems to your machine.
