Welcome to my collection of in-person sewing and quilting classes – where you can be guaranteed a warm welcome, lots of laughs, new friends and making something that you will be proud of.

Whether you’re a complete beginner, want to try something new, or are ready to take your patchwork and quilting to the next level, you’ll find a class, course, or retreat that fits you beautifully.

All classes take place in Gloucestershire (near Newent, Ledbury, Ross-on-Wye and Gloucester), with expert tuition, and a relaxed, supportive atmosphere.

If you’re completely new to sewing, my Beginner's Sewing Course is exactly what you need.

If you can sew a straight line (don’t worry if it’s not perfect; I’ll soon have those wobbly seams sorted), and you want to learn patchwork and quilting, then you need my Intro to Patchwork & Quilting Retreat.

Both courses are designed especially for beginners and you’ll leave feeling proud, inspired, and raring to make more!

✨ Why Learn With Me?

Let me introduce myself properly. I’m Kim – a friendly, down-to-earth quilting and sewing teacher who’s passionate about helping beginners fall in love with making. I’ve taught hundreds of new stitchers both in person and online, and I believe learning should feel joyful, achievable, and fun (with plenty of tea and lots of laughs along the way!).

I’m City & Guilds qualified in Patchwork & Quilting, DBS cleared (for teaching children and vulnerable adults), a regular guest presenter on Sewing Street TV (live!), and I run the Quilt With Kim YouTube channel, where thousands of people learn with me every month to quilt with confidence. I break things down step-by-step, explain the bits others gloss over, and create a supportive space where there’s no such thing as a silly question.

You bring the enthusiasm and I’ll bring the encouragement, expertise, and a welcoming space where you’ll feel right at home with your sewing (even if you’re brand new).
