Why Do I Need A Quilting Ruler?

So, why CAN'T you use a normal ruler or a tape measure for your patchwork and quilting? It's a valid question, particularly when in the origins of patchwork, everything was done with paper templates.

But times have moved on, and our equipment has developed, and I think that maybe our quilting ancestors may well have liked the tools and equipment we have at our disposal today.

A quilting ruler forms an important part of our very basic equipment and in this week's video, I talk you through WHY you need a quilting ruler.
